Responsible for analyzing events, identifying threats, reporting security findings and recommending corrective actions for the relevant operational teams. Perform External & Internal Penetration, Vulnerability Assessments to identify security flaws, Rate & prioritize security flaws based on Severity & devise remediation steps; Model Security Design to align w/Data Security & Regulatory Standards & take ownership to complete Audits & demonstrate compliance with these regulations; Document various Policies & Procedure documents & maintain IT Library & User Security Training Programs; Responsible for Business Continuity Planning & will work with Department Heads to perform Quantitative & Qualitative Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Compile a comprehensive list of Risks to IT Assets & based on Risk Assessment devise & document Disaster Recovery & Backup plans. Will use a wide range of technical information security disciplines & solutions including Firewalls, Content Filtering, NAT, VPN, PKI, Network & Host Intrusion Detection & Prevention IDS/IPS, Encryption (AES, Blowfish, 3DES), Malware identification, containment & prevention, E-mail & SPAM security, Active Directory & Group policies, OS, OSX, various UNIX/Linux platforms, TCP/IP, IPSEC, L2TP, PPTP, FTP, TFT, SFTP, SSH & other common security tool sets; Experience with SIEM (Security Information & Event Management) tools, Alien Vault, GFI, Trippwire, Qaulys Guard, Foregenix, NESSUS, Network Detective is reqd. Master's degree in Engg., Comp. Sci., CIS or MIS with 1 yr of exp in Systems Director or related occupation is required.
